St. John's Episcopal Church

Lauau

We believe that when we gather in fellowship and support of one another that we come to know God, who has entered into communion with us through Christ. Below are but a few of the growing number of fellowship opportunities at St. John’s.

Coffee Hour: This is an informal time of fellowship held each Sunday after the 10:15 Service in St. David’s (Parish) Hall next to the Church building. Please join us for coffee and snacks, and get to know us a little better.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW): All women of the parish are members of this wide-ranging organization of fellowship and service. The ECW sponsors a number of “interest groups” for women, including a Bible study, a walking group, and a quilting circle. The ECW also conducts the annual “Garden Tour” each May, which raises funds for projects in the parish and the community.

Wonderful Wednesday: Potluck dinner on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6 PM in the parish hall.

Senior Luncheon: On the third Tuesday of each month at noon the older members of the congregation meet for lunch in St. David’s Hall for fellowship and an interesting program.

Health Ministries & The Care Group: This is a group of devoted people who through prayer and action seek to serve those in need in our congregation. It consists of the prayer chain, and a group that helps with food and transportation at times of crisis. They have also developed a ministry to shut-ins.
