We believe that when we gather in fellowship and
support of one another that we come to know God, who has entered into communion
with us through Christ. Below are but a
few of the growing number of fellowship opportunities at St. John’s.
Coffee Hour:
This is an informal time of fellowship held each Sunday after the 10:15 Service
in St. David’s (Parish) Hall next to the Church building. Please join us for coffee and snacks, and
get to know us a little better.
Episcopal Church Women
(ECW): All women of the parish are members of this
wide-ranging organization of fellowship and service. The ECW sponsors a number of “interest groups” for women,
including a Bible study, a walking group, and a quilting circle. The ECW also conducts the annual “Garden
Tour” each May, which raises funds for projects in the parish and the
community.
Wonderful Wednesday: Potluck dinner on the 2nd Wednesday of
each month at 6 PM in the parish hall.
Senior Luncheon:
On the third Tuesday of each month at noon the older members of the
congregation meet for lunch in St. David’s Hall for fellowship and an
interesting program.
Health Ministries &
The Care Group: This is a group of devoted people who
through prayer and action seek to serve those in need in our congregation. It consists of the prayer chain, and a group
that helps with food and transportation at times of crisis. They have also developed a ministry to
shut-ins.
